Thank You, Manjunath.

Great work. Really appreciate that.

Would be really helpful if you could add few default profiles which contains all the stocks listed in different indexes like BSE, NSE, Nifty 100 etc.

Option to pull data from BSE/NSE would also enhance this software.

Overall, great work and keep it up.

Dear Manjunath,
The application is downloading alright, but not initialising. Could u kindly do something abt it?

Hi Sreeram,

This small tool is developed in C# language. So to execute this application you shud have .NET framework installed in your machine :)

Mr. Manjunath,
The s/w NSEticker is quite smooth.
But i'd like it if it could transfer data into metastock along with backfill.
Can u develop that.
pls reply

Dear Saneil,

Now I am working on the following features.

1. Extract the data from Nseindia.com for every 5 mints
2. store all these information in a csv format.
3. These file can be feed to amibroker or metastock

Please do let me know if u want me to add some more

dear manjunath,

Is there anyway that i can have rt data from NSE for charing a online chart (For a website which i'm developing)

Anonymous said...

Dear Mr.Manjunath,

My compliments to you for the excellent work you have done with these applications! Very good work indeed, Mr.Manjunath!

I'm a serious intraday analyst,
Can you please develop an application which downloads the intraday changes of a given stock(s) that gets downloaded at the end of the day in a single stroke? (is it possible from the chart data?)

This will eliminate the need for us to be connected to the net for the entire day, which may not be always possible.

best regards,
Gokula Krishnan

Dear Gokula Krishnan

Yes it is possible, I can maitain a server which is up and running during the market hours and extracts the data for all the NSE scripts. And in any particular time (during market or non market hours) anybody can request for interday data...

Howz that??

Mail me at manjunath.govindaraju@gmail.com if you are intersted.

Excellent jog on NSE Ticker. I indeed looking somethink similar to this. thank you very much. very nice of you. only one sugession, if you add Nifty index also then it will be a great help. now We can see only stock. but Nifty main index and some other index like nifty IT, nifty Bank etc if you could add into the list then it become complete package.

Dear Manjunath,

Thanks for this great utility.
Really you have big kind heart to give this utility for free of cost.
Thanks once again.

BTW,since you want to make it user friendly, I would like to give two suggestions.

1.Pls develop your next version extracting real time data in every 30 sec to 1 minute as 5 minutes seems a bit longer time.

2.Backfill is needed for charting.
So giving backfill option for the last 5 days and current day will be very useful.

Thanks.
